#WCW: Binx Walton

The pandemonium that is fashion month has ended for spring 2018’s offerings, but the adoration for this week’s Beauty Crush hasn’t come to a halt. Hailing from the sunny shores of California, supermodel Binx Walton has had quite the runway season. Opening and closing for Tom Ford and Versace, being one of Alexander Wang’s runway darlings, to strutting her stuff for Bottega Venetta, Fendi, and Balmain among many others designers, it’s easy to see why she’s so sought after.

A natural beauty all her own, Walton  hardly needs or wears any makeup unless the job calls for it.
When shoots do require a beat, her clear skin and angular features make for the perfect canvas. Whether soft and dainty with light touches of pink on the cheeks…
…to an everyday red lip…
…to avant garde eyeshadow, she serves it in anything, doesn’t she?

Given her laid back persona, it’s no surprise when it comes to her hair, a simple bun goes a long way for her.
But that’s not to say she can’t pull off any style.  Faux-hawks, long ponytails, or natural curls all favor the frame of her face and showcase her innate versatility.   Aside from her stunning beauty, her sheer determination to be at the top doesn’t go unnoticed.  Now that runway season is done, she’s certainly going to appear in campaign after campaign and even more editorials to add to her résumé.  Binx is leading the charge for this generation’s models of color, and for that, we tip our hats to her.
What do you think of this week’s pick?
