Angelina Jolie Files for Divorce From Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Last Red Carpet Sighting
It's over for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
The couple, who has been together since 2004, called it quits, according to CNN.  Jolie filed for divorce Monday citing irreconcilable differences. She is seeking physical custody of their six kids, suggesting Pitt get visitation rights. Jolie did not seek spousal support.

Jolie and Pitt, who got together in 2004 after starring in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, secretly married in 2014 at their Chateau Miraval in France. The actors wed in a small chapel in a private ceremony attended by family and friends. Prior to the nondenominational civil ceremony, the movie stars obtained a marriage license from a local California judge, who also conducted the wedding ceremony in France. The Jolie-Pitt kids— Maddox, PaxZaharaShiloh, and twins Knox and Viviennne—participated in their parents' wedding.
Pitt, 52, proposed to Jolie, 41, in 2012 and designed an engagement ring with Robert Procop. Although they had been together for years without worrying about marriage, Pitt revealed that it was increased pressure from their children that sparked the proposal. "We're getting a lot of pressure from the kids," he told E! News months after popping the question. "We didn't realize how much it meant to them and then, in getting engaged, how much it also means to us."
This is the second marriage for Pitt, who was previously married to Jennifer Aniston. It was the third marriage for Jolie, who also tied the knot with Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
TMZ was the first to report the divorce.
