Kim Kardashian Has a Fix for Oily Lids—It's Called Glossy Eye Makeup!

ESC: Must Do Monday, Kim Kardashian

If anyone can make oily lids a thing, it's Kim Kardashian.
OK, glossy eyes—the high-fashion, editorialized version of the heat-induced makeup faux pas—has been popular for a few seasons now, mostly seen in magazine spreads, campaigns and music videos. The latest of which—Kanye West's "Wolves" (Balmain Campaign)—features his beloved wife wearing that wet-shine finish like a boss.
I know from experience that glossy eye makeup can get messy, but Kim's makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic shared a genius trick to get the look: Use cream concealer!

"To achieve a look like this on the eyes, I used a cream concealer in a darker shade on the lids (as a shadow) followed by the eye gloss," Mario wrote.
Use a dark neutral concealer like a shadow—no nudes palette necessary here! Pro tip: You can also use color correctors, like Make Up For Ever Camouflage Cream Palette, to blend up the perfect shade for you—and the formula will last longer than most cream consistencies. Top it off with a face gloss, like Mac Studio Eye Gloss, lip gloss or even petroleum jelly for that Kim K.-approved sheen.

The star recently revealed to us that she's over powder contouring and is all about creamy consistencies now. Hey, every savvy business person knows the value of a good multi-purpose product.
