PRESS PLAY: New Timbaland Project Features An Unreleased Aaliyah Song

Timbaland just released his highly anticipated mix tape ‘King Stays King‘ featuring a previously unreleased Aaliyah track.
The smooth melodic sound of Aaliyah’s voice has been missing from the R&B game for over fourteen years, and now fans get a little reprieve from the silence with new music from the late singer.
The 16-track mixtape will feature collabs with Mila J (“Get No Betta”),Young Thug (“Didn’t Do It”), Blaze, and Rich Homie Quan (“Servin’), reports Billboard. 

As you recall, Timb & Aaliyah came together to produce the mega hits and fan classics ‘Try Again’ and ‘Are You That Somebody.’
Timb’s musical Christmas gift comes just in time–after an amazing year the hit maker has had being the genius behind those Empire songs, we are sure this mix tape is just a prelude for what’s to come in 2016.
It’s so refreshing to hear Aaliyah’s voice again.
