Khloé Kardashian is dedicated to helping Lamar Odom recover, but despite calling off their divorce, the couple won't be reconciling romantically.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star opens up to People magazine about her and Lamar's situation and explains that everything is far more complicated than it appears. "It's out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that's not in our thought process right now," Khloé tells the magazine.
"There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now. There is a very long road ahead of him, and he has to walk that road by himself. But I'll be there supporting him every step of the way."
Lamar was found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel Oct. 13 following a drug overdose, and Khloé has been by his side in the hospital ever since; however, the E! star insists she only wants to be there for him while he recovers.
"It's not anything sexual or intimate," Khloé, 31, says. "I want to be his support system. Tragedy does make you reassess a lot of things, but when it comes to our relationship, it's the same, except I'm here supporting him fully."
E! News confirmed that Khloé and Lamar decided to put their legal split on hold following his health crisis. A source told us that she felt it "was the right thing to do right now." As for whether or not they'll finalize their divorce in the future, Khloé explains to People, "There's no rush."
The reality star has been dating 26-year-old Houston Rockets player James Harden, but she tells the magazine that because she's "not trying to get married tomorrow to anybody," she just wants to do what's best for Lamar's health.
"It's just bad timing to proceed with that right now. And also for medical reasons, it's just smarter that gets on hold for a minute," she adds. "But that does not mean I'm back with Lamar. That's a whole other thing that only time will tell. I can't tell you what tomorrow brings."

In the meantime, she still has Harden's support. "He's been great with me, and I'm just allowing everything to unfold," she adds. "If it's ever too overwhelming [for him], then I understand that as well."
An insider revealed to E! News that while Harden has been busy with NBA pre-season, he never let his support for Khloé waver and has been in "constant contact" since Lamar's health crisis began.
There are no immediate plans for Lamar to be released from the hospital in L.A., another source added, and Khloé now reveals that his health is always changing—for better or for worse.
"Every hour is different," she admits. "It goes up and it goes down. Things are progressing, but it's a very serious situation."
