Best Looks Of The Week.

Happy Friday everyone!
With the weekend just hours away, we’ve come to one of my favorite posts – the Look of the Week. It seems there is a subtle battle brewing between the classic palette of black and white; in fact, most of my contenders either rocked one or the other. So, I think it’s safe to say that this is definitely a fashion showdown!
Let’s get it on!

1. LaLa Anthony in Balmain
Lala posed on Instagram prior to the Angel Ball dressed in a Balmain thigh high slit dress with a deep v-neck plunge.
Earlier this week, LaLa Anthony made an appearance at the Angela Ball in a stunning Balmain gown. The elegant yet sultry piece features a thigh-high slit, a plunging neckline and a sleek silhouette. I’ll admit – at first glance, I almost didn’t recognize Miss Anthony, but hey, the girl slayed in this number!
2. Kerry Washington in Calvin Klein

Scandal honey Kerry Washington was on-hand at the 21st Annual ELLE Women in Hollywood celebration in a simple yet effective Calvin Klein mini dress. The blue and black, one-shoulder beauty was offset by black Christian Louboutin pumps and a white clutch – I adore how Miss Washington kept things subtle. Hands down, she’s a master when it comes to rocking minimalist looks. Gorg!
3. Olivia Munn in Lanvin

Now, I don’t much about Olivia Munn but she looked absolutely electrifying in a black, metallic mini dress by the incredible Lanvin. As she graced the red carpet for American Ballet Theatre’s 2014 Opening Night, she smoldered with the addition of platform, ankle strap pumps and a spotted clutch. Yes!
4. Mel B in Julien MacDonald

This week’s feature would not be complete without Mel B! The television personality has been killing it lately. In this particular look, she flaunted her enviable stems in a white Julien MacDonald creation at the 2014 MOBO Awards. With eye-catching gold embellishments and an amazing thigh-high slit, this jaw-dropper literally screamed sexy. I love how she kept her shoe game simple with the gold, peep-toe slingback. I’m here for it!
5. Lupita Nyong’o in Fitriani
Lupita Nyong'o is so gorgeous, no? She stunned at the Sindika Dokolo Art Foundation dinner at Cafe Royal in London in a ruffled mini LBD from Fitriani's Spring 2015 collection. Chic!
She’s back! After a brief hiatus, Lupita Nyong’o is slowly making her way back into the spotlight. The award-winning actress was a vision in a black, structured cocktail dress by Fitriani.  To keep her frock on the classy and sophisticated side, the style maven donned pointed toe pumps and a ladylike purse. Doesn’t she look great?
6. Jennifer Lopez in Jitrois

Jennifer Lopez hit the red carpet looking nothing less than spectacular! The singer/actress was spotted in a Jitrois leather dress which boasts intricate cutouts and a fitted waist. I’m convinced that this woman can do no wrong – she consistently brings her A-game. I’m not mad at her though. Werk!

What do you think?
