NeNe Leakes performs during a preview for her 10-show guest engagement as
  • NeNe Leakes is the latest name to be tossed into the ring as a possible successor to Joan Rivers on E!’s Fashion Police. Chalking it up to Leakes’s comic timing, the reality star would be an interesting choice. Another front runner is said to be Kathy Griffin. (The Urban Daily)

evian and kenzo collaborate
  • French water company Evian has tapped Kenzo for their latest collaboration. Following in the footsteps of Elie Saab, Diane Von Furstenberg and Christian Lacroix amongst others, Kenzo designed a print based on their Fall collection for the bottle. Miuccia Prada, Patrizio Bertelli
  • The Italian tax authorities may have been emboldened by their success with Dolce & Gabbana and have now turned their sights on another fashion company. Prada has now confirmed that the government agency has put them under scrutiny relating to “the accuracy of certain past tax filings.” Of course this is all curious as those involved made a voluntary disclosure on their earnings and paid a reported €470 million in January to resolve any issues. George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin got their wedding weekend started with big smiles. Picture perfect!
  • If you’re as excited as I am to see the dress that Amal Alamuddin wore to wed George Clooney then keep our eyes peeled on People Magazine. According to WWD, their team has an exclusive on the images of the ceremony where Alamudin wore an Oscar de la Renta gown and Clooney wore a Giorgio Armani suit. And if you’re hoping for blurry cellphone pictures to surface before then? Well Clooney himself made sure that wouldn’t happen. (WWD)

Consistently one of the most entertaining shows of Paris Fashion Week, Jean Paul Gaultier wanted to go out with a bang. For his last ready-to-wear presentation, he kept things as campy and sultry as always with a performance indeed. He will be surely missed, though we’re confident that the tickets to his haute couture shows will only become more coveted because of it.
